A Little Cocktail Corner

Looking for a fun way to create a little cocktail corner?

This can easily be done with a cocktail tray, cart, small dresser.  The fun part is adding the small touches on top of the piece that will hold everything.  Start by looking around your house for some cute items you can use to dress up your area.

I purchased this bamboo and cane tray at an antique store and added items from around the house to create a fun setting on top of the tray.

( BTW — I love to collect corks, for any future craft projects, and keep them in a large, pedestal crystal bowl beneath the tray)

I gathered a mint julep cup I had, a small, antique cordial glass from a set that was my grandmother’s and found the wood box, with metal top on clearance at Target, to corral some random bar ware and garnish picks.

I lined the bottom of the box with some pretty, glittery scrapbook paper, and cut out vinyl lettering using my Cricut to spell out “Pop, Fizz, Clink”.

Here’s a close up of the inside of the box.. how cute is that little “Olive you” fork?  A friend gave that to me and I love using it to spear a big ‘ol olive for a dirty martini!  I also included a shot glass, wine charms, foil cutter for wine and a wine aerator.  You can fill it with whatever items you’d like to keep handy for your cocktail prep.

That’s it!  Easy, Peasy!  Look around your house and re-purpose some cute, little cups and containers to dress up your “Cocktail corner,”  then kick back and enjoy a fancy drink!

Cheers!
